Residency Training Programs

All prospective ACVNU residency programs must submit an application to the ACVNU for evaluation. Approval from the ACVNU’s independent training and certifying body, the ABVNU, is necessary prior to commencement of residency training.

Detailed information on residency training program expectations and requirements for residents to obtain ACVNU board certification can be found in the ACVNU Certifying Manual. Descriptions of necessary facilities and clinical activities can be found within. Programs must meet these criteria to be approved to proceed with nephrology urology residency training.
